PVS Hospital boasts of an excellent state of the art Neurology department which has been functional for the past two decades. Department offers services of two senior neuro physicians, Dr. S.Ram Manohar DM,(NIMHANS),who has been with us from the outset and Dr. Sudeep Balakrishnan DM, Dip NB (SCT)  who is working here for the past 11years.
Neorology department caters mainly to Acute stroke, Epilepsy and Movement Disorders. We have an actively functioning neurophysiology lab. We have similarly a very dynamic ‘Movement Disorders’ (including Botulinum toxin clinic) and Epilepsy clinics, provided focused care to these patients.
We plans to bring I/V thrombolysis for acute stroke management and interventional neurology the department is easily one of the best of its kind in Central Kerala and North Malabar. An interventional neuroradiologist is also set to join the fold.
